With over 25 years of experience, Lawrence is an internationally recognised musical theatre coach, classical baritone, choral conductor and consultant across the music industry.
I trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and went on to perform professionally with ensembles including the CBSO and Mid Wales Opera. I went on teach at many of the UK’s leading drama colleges and am currently Head of Singing at the world renowned Laine Theatre Arts.

I have taught some of the world’s leading performers, from pop icon Ella Henderson to West End star Charlie Stemp and from TV’s Matt Baker to Daisy Ridley of Star Wars fame. I teach all styles from classical to musical theatre and have particular expertise in vocal health.
Performance, Workshops and Consultancy
Alongside my teaching practice I continue to enjoy singing in concerts across the UK, especially as an oratorio soloist. I have led workshops for ASOS and Benslow Music Trust and have acted as a consultant for the ABRSM’s musical theatre syllabus.
